Salman Haider Sheikh has over 26 years of global Investment Management and Investment Banking experience with 16 years as a successful CEO being instrumental in establishment and growth of Two Large Financial Institutions with a proven track record and independent acknowledgements.  His forte also includes Private Equity transactions and product innovation.  A decade long experience on Wall Street-New York with global leading institutions like Merrill Lynch, Janney Montgomery Scott and Wachovia-Wells Fargo.

Mr. Sheikh passed the Professional Licenses of Series 7 and Series 63 from NASD-New York which helped in gaining knowledge of structuring and promoting equity & debt based financial instruments and derivatives. He has served on the board of Mutual Fund Association of Pakistan and on the product development committee of the Pakistan Stock Exchange which resulted in the launch of Cash settled futures to improve liquidity and hedging options in Pakistan’s equity markets.  On a special request of the Chairman SECP, he led to restructure through acquisition and rebranding of Pakistan’s first ever Distressed Equity fund to an Asset Allocation fund and enhance capacity building measures.  He also led the first ever acquisition of an Asset Management company in Pakistan backed by a foreign Sovereign Wealth Fund to restructure it with growth of over 1876% in the first 4+ Years of management as its CEO.  Mr. Sheikh possesses a bachelors in Finance from Rutgers University USA, an M-MBA from Rutgers University USA, an MBA in Banking from University of London UK and a graduate diploma in Executive Leadership from Cornell University USA.
